Introducing Rob, who is keen to get back into the workforce and has much to offer with a calm, mature demeanour, clear speaking voice, intermediate computer skills and excellent presentation. He is a very competent driver with multiple licences and tickets, has a reliable vehicle and clean driving record. Unfortunately, due to a solid working history, that has involved much wear and tear on Rob’s joints, he is no longer able to undertake heavy work and truck driving/ plant operating, but he still has heaps to offer any employer.

Helga is a mature job seeker who was in long term employment until recently, when the showroom where she worked closed. Not one to sit idle, she is very keen to re-join the work force as soon as possible.

She is looking for part-time hospitality, retail or stock management work. Helga has a wealth of experience in both customer service and administration. She worked for 18 years as a customer service officer in banking, and more recently she managed a retail showroom for Chad Plaster.

Helga particularly enjoyed stock management and assisting customers to ensure their needs were met and they were satisfied with their purchases. The Director of Chad Plaster especially praised her attention to detail, punctuality and reliability.

Helga gained her RSA certificate in 2019. She learns quickly and will apply herself to acquiring any new skills required for a suitable job.

Janis is eagerly looking for part-time work in an administrative role. He is trustworthy, reliable and any employer can count on him to work hard and smart. He has extensive experience in both general administration and specialised theatrical production support.

Janis worked at Monash University in the performing Arts department as production manager, for 25 years until he was made redundant 5 years ago. He performs widespread volunteer administration work in the Latvian community (mainly in the evenings) to keep himself on his toes and his knowledge and experience refreshed. He still very much enjoys learning new skills, in fact, he completed a certificate IV in bookkeeping last year.

He loves working as part of a team in a busy environment but is also productive working independently.

He is computer literate and would prefer a desk job working 4-5 hours per day, during business hours, 5 days per week if possible.

Kath has 28 years’ experience working as an admin assistant for a recruitment company. She performed various roles including the collection, sorting and ongoing management of data, reception relief, receiving telephone enquiries and maintaining relationships with both the on-hired workforce and clients/hiring managers.

Since leaving the company in mid-2017 she has undertaken some temporary work (including a temporary assignment with the Australian Electoral Commission for three months) to maintain her skills.

She is eager to return to the workforce in an administrative or data entry position with an organisation that values loyalty and dedication through hard work. Kath drives and has no problem commuting. Her preferred work locations are the south-eastern suburbs or CBD.

Kath has no experience with accounts, payroll or finance but really enjoys and is happy to perform all aspects of basic administration work.

She would like to work four to five days per week, if possible.

She is physically fit, well organised, self-motivated and willing to work hard.

Ainsley has a learning disability which affects her numeracy skills, but she will follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
