Michele has worked as a receptionist since she left school. Michele joined DVJS in 2005 & thoroughly enjoys her role meeting new people & greeting people in a positive and vibrant manner. Many job seekers come & go but Michele takes pride in being able to remember their names & seeing many lives changed from when they first walked-in with little confidence to no longer requiring support from DVJS.



Financial Controller

Nikki joined DVJS in 2000 after previous role with large international recruitment company for 15 years. Nikki is responsible for all aspects of financial matters of DVJS & is passionate & dedicated to ensuring all accounting processes are in accordance with ATO legislation.

Emma joined DVJS in 2012 originally as BookKeeper after having her own business for 15 years. Emma has worked in a number of roles within DVJS and recently took on the role for compliance. Emma takes a lot of pride & satisfaction meeting & assisting people on their journey to successful employment.



Reception Oakleigh

Kim Joined the DVJS Oakleigh team in 2017 as Receptionist / Administration support.

Kim has completed her Diploma of Youth Work then went onto Uni to Study her Bachelor of Psychology/Criminology. With these qualifications Kim can bring lots of knowledge to the organisation and Kim’s background in working with a diverse range of clients from Respite care for foster families to helping in the facilitation of cultural diverse camps/clubs and Schools.

Kim's passion is to help people and make difference in people’s lives.



Reception Cranbourne

Amanda joined DVJS in early 2016, as Receptionist at the Cranbourne office.
In the past she worked with animals as a volunteer at animal shelters; which led to her becoming a Veterinary Nurse for several years.
She believes her caring nature will help clients have a positive experience at DVJS, and reach their employment goals.

Kim Barnard

Admin/Job Search Officer Glen Waverley

Kim joined DVJS early in 2016 as a Job Search Officer for the Glen Waverley and Box Hill sites. She grew up in Birmingham in the United Kingdom, moved to Australia with her family in 1968, studied mediaeval history and psychology at Adelaide University in South Australia and has worked all over Australia and in London.


In 2010 Kim was a senior marketing manager at Telstra when she was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis, a condition that has left her with significant brain scarring, chronic pain - especially in her hands - and chronic fatigue.


Kim had to learn how to use dictation software, a process that led her to discover a passion for writing. She has now penned three novels and a soon to be released self-help book on tackling life head on despite debilitating fatigue.


Kim knows first-hand what a difference employment makes in enhancing a person's sense of self-worth, and really enjoys supporting the DVJS team and our clients.



DVJS  Media Pakenham

Georgia joined DVJS in 2017, to work on social media and graphics from the Pakenham office.

In the past she has worked in PR, marketing, communication and events in corporate  and not-for-profit organisations and brings over four years of experience in those areas.  Georgia has most recently worked for a mental health and disability support agency across their four locations.

She is currently completing an online accredited course in wedding and event planning to supplement her degree and believes her compassion and understanding towards those experiencing various challenges will assist her in this role.



Reception Glen Waverley/Box Hill

Virginia returned to work after a long time ill in 2016. Previously Virginia had been working in HR and Recruitment and has a Bachelor degree in Business HR and Marketing.  Virginia has been working at DVJS Glen Waverley and Box Hill for the last 2 years. During which time Virginia has also been training clients as well as administrative and reception duties.
