CEO

Steve has worked in the disability field since 1984 and opened DVJS in March 1993. He has qualifications in Organizational Psychology and Industrial Relations and is passionate about social inclusion for people with disability.

Nikki

Financial Controller

Nikki joined DVJS in 2000 after having a previous role with a large international recruitment company for 15 years. Nikki is responsible for all aspects of financial matters of DVJS & is passionate and dedicated to ensuring all accounting processes are in accordance with ATO legislation

Business Development Manager

Andy has been with DVJS since 2008 & worked in Disability sector since 1993. With his broad knowledge of industry & understanding the needs of employers he is very confident he & his team will find you the RIGHT employee for the right job!!

Paul

Operations Manager Pakenham

Paul Joined DVJS in 2010 having previously worked in hospitality management. He has an excellent understanding of disability & is passionate about placing people into long term employment with supportive companies.

Laurianne

Operations Manager - Cranbourne & PPS

Laurianne joined DVJS in 2011 initially as a casual trainer & then became permanent in 2012. In 2014 Laurianne became our PPS & Compliance Manager due to her vision, hardwork and thoroughness. Laurianne is driven to create sustainable employment outcomes for people with disabilities & is passionate about providing a quality, pro-active & responsive service that truly delivers to both employers and job seekers.

Operations Manager - Bayside ESA

Erin joined DVJS in 2001 after completing her Outdoor Education degree. Erin is knowledgeable in all areas of DVJS operations & is a very supportive & informed manager. She is highly motivated to obtain employment for her job seekers & ensure that her team meets all departmental guidelines. Erin's strength is her ability to form excellent working relationships with job seekers & employers which ensures a right fit for both parties.

Carol

Manager - Dandenong

Carol joined DVJS in 2015 having worked in the disability industry for over 7 years. Prior to this Carol ran her own business for ten years, owning & operating bakeries. This has given her an insight into the demands of small business & she enjoys working with employers & clients to get the right fit. Carol’s job satisfaction comes from seeing the difference working makes to her clients lives & supporting them to achieve their goals. Carol prides herself on her follow through & dedication & has a genuine passion for working in this sector.

Louise joined DVJS at the beginning of 2017. Coming from a corporate business background Louise also has a Diploma in Case Management for Community Services. Louise is passionate about providing her employers and clients with great service, respect, and feeling valued.

Erika has been with DVJS since 2012 & has experience in Business Development working in London as well as real estate sales. Erika has a true passion for assisting people with disabilities to find suitable employment to enhance their lives.

After 20+ years’ experience as a National BDM in the industrial and Allied Health Sectors. Seeking a career change, Pete joined DVJS in April 2018 with a primary core focus, “to make a real difference in life of people with a disability and their families”.  Pete’s passion and diverse business background means he has a solid appreciation of company needs and is committed to working closely with the team to continue to improve our level of service to both Employers and Job Seekers.

Jennifer joined DVJS in 2010 seeking a career change from Hospitality. Jen is very positive & vibrant and is passionate about meeting new people & assisting them reach their goals. Jen is very committed to spreading the word on the sucess & quality programs that DVJS delivers.

Ross  joined DVJS in 1994 having previously worked with our CEO  at Marriott House assisting job seekers with disabilities access employment. To this day, Ross is still passionate about getting people jobs & working with employers ensuring that the employment outcome is long term. Ross is very resilient, professional & extremely dedicated...his #1 goal is to give a job seeker HOPE that there is a job out there for them.

Carolyn joined DVJS in early 2017 after a 30 year career in the sales and customer service industry. Carolyn enjoys getting to know people, discovering and helping  to develop their strengths and assisting them to improve their lives by finding suitable sustainable open employment. Carolyn also realizes how important it is for businesses to employ staff that are the right fit for the particular position.

Danielle joined DVJS in 2010 after 20 years in the dental industry (that is why she has such perfect smile!). Danielle loves her role in the Community Liaison team where she gets to meet new job seekers & hear their story as well as visiting and informing local service providers about DVJS. Danielle is passionate about making a difference which she truly believes DVJS does!

Emma joined DVJS in 2012 originally as BookKeeper after having her own business for 15 years. Emma has worked in a number of roles within DVJS and recently took on the role for compliance. Emma takes a lot of pride & satisfaction meeting & assisting people on their journey to successful employment.

Post-Placement Consultant

Denise commenced with DVJS in 2012, starting as a part time trainer & later that year moving to a Post Placement support position. Denise has worked in the disability employment field for over 16 years between open & supported employment. Denise grew up working in her families’ small business, which has provided her with excellent grounding to see perspectives of both an employer & employee. Her passion for this sector comes from seeing people overcome their barriers to be positive contributors to society.

Jamie has extensive experience in Information Technology having spent 35 years in both technical and leadership roles within the Confectionery and Pharmaceutical industries. Alison recommenced with DVJS in March 2019. Alison had previously worked with DVJS for 4 years in similar role and has been working in the disability field for over 14 years. Alison has also been running her own business which gives her excellent grounding to see both the employer and worker perspectives.

Many job seekers come & go but Michele takes pride in being able to remember their names & seeing many lives changed from when they first walked-in with little confidence to no longer requiring support from DVJS.

Mel joined DVJS in 2015 after 5 years with the Department of Justice in Melbourne. Her background before her move to Australia  was predominately in Volunteer Management & business administration.

Mel came to DVJS to re-connect with her passion for meeting new people & guiding them into fulfilling their potential. She has many years of experience dealing with the disability sector & has a genuine commitment to her clients & colleagues. Cassie joined DVJS in 2018. Cassie has a background in Disability Employment & Client Relations, Marketing and Administration. Cassie has a psychology degree and is very passionate about helping people especially assisting people with disability access employment. Cassie is able to work with her job seekers to break down barriers and build a trusting relationship and positive rapport. Cassie enjoys a challenge and helping people reach their goals.
