Steve has worked in the disability field since 1984 and opened DVJS in March 1993. He has qualifications in Organizational Psychology and Industrial Relations and is passionate about social inclusion for people with disability.
Nikki joined DVJS in 2000 after having a previous role with a large international recruitment company for 15 years. Nikki is responsible for all aspects of financial matters of DVJS & is passionate and dedicated to ensuring all accounting processes are in accordance with ATO legislation

Laurianne joined DVJS in 2011 initially as a casual trainer & then became permanent in 2012. In 2014 Laurianne became our PPS & Compliance Manager due to her vision, hardwork and thoroughness. Erin joined DVJS in 2001 after completing her Outdoor Education degree. Erin is knowledgeable in all areas of DVJS operations & is a very supportive & informed manager. She is highly motivated to obtain employment for her job seekers & ensure that her team meets all departmental guidelines. Carol joined DVJS in 2015 having worked in the disability industry for over 7 years. Prior to this Carol ran her own business for ten years, owning & operating bakeries. This has given her an insight into the demands of small business & she enjoys working with employers & clients to get the right fit. Carol’s job satisfaction comes from seeing the difference working makes to her clients lives & supporting them to achieve their goals. Louise joined DVJS at the beginning of 2017. Coming from a corporate business background Louise also has a Diploma in Case Management for Community Services. Louise is passionate about providing her employers and clients with great service, respect, and feeling valued.
Erika has been with DVJS since 2012 & has experience in Business Development working in London as well as real estate sales. Erika has a true passion for assisting people with disabilities to find suitable employment to enhance their lives.

Carolyn joined DVJS in early 2017 after a 30 year career in the sales and customer service industry. Carolyn enjoys getting to know people, discovering and helping to develop their strengths and assisting them to improve their lives by finding suitable sustainable open employment. Carolyn also realizes how important it is for businesses to employ staff that are the right fit for the particular position.

Danielle joined DVJS in 2010 after 20 years in the dental industry (that is why she has such perfect smile!). Danielle loves her role in the Community Liaison team where she gets to meet new job seekers & hear their story as well as visiting and informing local service providers about DVJS. Danielle is passionate about making a difference which she truly believes DVJS does!
Sarah joined DVJS in 2018. After spending over 10 years within the hospitality industry, Sarah was ready for a change in career and knew working with people was her passion. Customer service is her strength and is committed to tailoring individualised support and service to achieve that the right job match for suitable ongoing employment.
Donna joined DVJS in 2018. Donna has extensive experience in Media and Communications having spent the past 32 years as a journalist and newspaper editor. Donna loves working with people, hearing their stories and helping those in need. She always enjoys a challenge and assisting people reach their goals.
Compliance & Administration Officer
Emma joined DVJS in 2012 originally as BookKeeper after having her own business for 15 years. Emma has worked in a number of roles within DVJS and recently took on the role for compliance. Emma takes a lot of pride & satisfaction meeting & assisting people on their journey to successful employment.
Denise commenced with DVJS in 2012, starting as a part time trainer & later that year moving to a Post Placement support position. Denise has worked in the disability employment field for over 16 years between open & supported employment. Denise grew up working in her families’ small business, which has provided her with excellent grounding to see perspectives of both an employer & employee. Her passion for this sector comes from seeing people overcome their barriers to be positive contributors to society.
Lauren joined DVJS in 2018 after spending the last 5 years as a Vocational Trainer teaching resume writing, presentation, interview preparation and goal setting. Lauren is passionate about sharing her knowledge and skills that job seekers need to source sustainable employment. Lauren’s highly motivated to help them shine to their full potential and loves to see the positive impact that employments plays in their lives.
Jamie joined DVJS in 2019. Jamie has extensive experience in Information Technology having spent 35 years in both technical and leadership roles within the Confectionery and Pharmaceutical industries. Jamie is passionate about working with people to help develop their skills and assist in successfully meeting their goals.

Alison recommenced with DVJS in March 2019. Alison had previously worked with DVJS for 4 years in similar role and has been working in the disability field for over 14 years. Alison has also been running her own business which gives her excellent grounding to see both the employer and worker perspectives.
Sammie joined DVJS in 2018. Sammie has a background in recruitment (Labour Hire) and banking. Sammie has a passion for assisting people with disabilities find suitable employment and is focused on building relationships with employers ensuring a smooth & happy relationship.
Kerri joined DVJS in 2014 seeking a career change from managing a restaurant for over 10 years. Kerri's management experience gives her great insight as to employers needs & of the potential positions that can be created in the workplace for our job seekers. Kerri is committed & passionate about finding job seekers jobs they are proud of & where they are valued.
Tori joined DVJS in 2018 having worked within the Youth Work and Hospitality/Retail Industries for over 12 years. Tori is extremely passionate about empowering individuals to make positive choices in their lives and assisting in breaking down the barriers to employment.
Michele has worked as a receptionist since she left school. Michele joined DVJS in 2005 & thoroughly enjoys her role meeting new people & greeting people in a positive and vibrant manner. Many job seekers come & go but Michele takes pride in being able to remember their names & seeing many lives changed from when they first walked-in with little confidence to no longer requiring support from DVJS.
Mel joined DVJS in 2015 after 5 years with the Department of Justice in Melbourne. Her background before her move to Australia was predominately in Volunteer Management & business administration.
Mel came to DVJS to re-connect with her passion for meeting new people & guiding them into fulfilling their potential. She has many years of experience dealing with the disability sector & has a genuine commitment to her clients & colleagues. Mel believes everyone has something to offer we just need to find the right match!
Cassie joined DVJS in 2018. Cassie has a background in Disability Employment & Client Relations, Marketing and Administration. Cassie has a psychology degree and is very passionate about helping people especially assisting people with disability access employment. Cassie is able to work with her job seekers to break down barriers and build a trusting relationship and positive rapport. Cassie enjoys a challenge and helping people reach their goals.
